Description:
A lush Technicolor fairytale about a king who decides that salt is more important than gold.
The film was released in 1955, and made many political compromises to appease the communist censors. Although Czechs saw the caricatures in the film as nothing more than communist propaganda, the film was colourful and had all the ingredients of a good fairy tale.
