Occasionally, international shipments may experience delays to certain countries due items being mis-sorted or mis-directed. Unfortunately, these delays are beyond of our control (as are delays due to Customs procedures). You may contact us to help you get that type of information where required. Remember - hundreds of new DVDs are released every month, so please check our site regularly for updates.
Here are some search tips:
- Omit 'The' from the beginning of a title as all item names are in the format 'Title, The'
- Search for a single word rather than the entire title (i.e. enter 'Cauldron' if searching for 'The Black Cauldron')
- Each DVD in our catalog includes titles in English and their original language, so you might want to try searching using other languages as well.

All North American DVDs are formatted in NTSC and encoded for Region 1 unless stated otherwise on our website. You may notice that some discs feature multiple zones ensuring playability in various countries and regions, provided your DVD player and television are both PAL compatible. Please refer to each individual item's page for specific product information before making a purchase.

Usually this type of issue is caused by incorrect handling of the disc; for example, fingerprints or scratches on the read surface, discs which have been forcibly removed from their casing which may cause cracks, etcetera.
With today’s high-tech and standardized manufacturing processes, it is most unusual for a disc to be damaged in any way during manufacturing. However, there may be rare instances of faulty batches, which usually result in product recalls. It is important then, that you check any new manufactured products for any of these problems just to be sure all is well.
As well, occasionally discs have been found incompatible with certain DVD players, which is why we encourage our customers to firstly check any problem discs on another brand of player. Refer to our DVD Guide for more information.
